Sota Chiropractic is a neurologically based, family wellness practice in Medina, Minnesota. We use a modern approach to health and healing. Our standards are high when it comes to your care and our training because you deserve the best! Dr. Marcus is proficient in Torque Release Technique (TRT), Webster Technique and diversified adjusting. He holds a membership in the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) for continued professional development. He is a lifelong learner who strives to stay at the forefront of chiropractic to help you become the best version of yourself.

 
Dr. Marcus Moore - Family Chiropractor

Marcus Moore, DC

Dr. Marcus Moore grew up in Chanhassen, MN. He completed his undergraduate at the University of St. Thomas. During his time at St. Thomas, Dr. Marcus co-lead a research grant at the local chiropractic college using their 3D biomechanics lab; this is where he fell in love with chiropractic. Over the coming years, chiropractic care helped Dr. Marcus overcome chronic knee issues - so he understands how it feels to live with health struggles. 

To pursue his love for chiropractic, Dr. Marcus ventured out west to attend the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. He graduated top of his class with Summa Cum Laude honors. Out west, Dr. Marcus had the opportunity to attend some of the most advanced training and seminars offered, including Webster and Torque Release Technique. He is a standing member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Dr. Marcus completed his doctorate with an internship at one of the largest wellness practices in Minnesota and spent his first year out of school learning from a leading doctors in the field, Dr. Pete Brettingen. 

Away from the office, you will find Dr. Marcus boating, longboarding, taking pictures and spending time up north.

MEET OUR CARE ADVOCATES

The name Care Advocate was chosen for a reason; they are your friend, support system, listening ear and advocate. Our Care Advocates have a wide range of responsibilities such as reviewing your health history, processing X-rays, building care plans and so much more! They are unique and special in their own way but they all have one thing in common, a big smile to great you with when you walk through the door. Our entire team is passionate about health, kids, families and supporting our community.

Emma pietila

Emma grew up in Atlantic Mine MI, which is in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She has an associate degree in Applied Sciences with PTA from Finlandia University. Emma comes from a big family, she has 9 siblings (6 sisters and 3 brothers). She moved to Minnesota the summer of 2020 after finishing school. Before moving to Minnesota, she lived in Alaska and Arizona for a few months each. Emma was an athlete in high school playing basketball, volleyball and running cross country. She understands the need for chiropractor care with injuries.

When Emma isn’t working, she loves to be outside, hiking, paddleboarding, traveling, reading, or hanging out with family and friends. Her favorite place she has traveled is Alaska where she spent most of her time hiking in the mountains.
